What do our customers have to say about us?
At "The Lodge" we keep a guest book for our visiting anglers to sign. The guest book was started in September 2007. The testimonials are "warts and all" and nothing has been
edited or removed from the original comments. Some spelling errors have been corrected and some "language" has been modified..
Occasionally we may add our own comment [ED] to clarify something that has been said.
We have only used customer initials to protect the innocent (or guilty as the case may sometimes be!)...

| Arrived with great expectations knowing the weather could change everything. The two days out at the islands produced a fantastic variety of fish in sizes we never see in Victoria. Bagged out on nannies and snapper, eventually having to put back fish which were too large and having to release specimens that you may never see again. Made you cry. Samson, kingfish, groper, swallows and many more varieties came up. Best days out ever. Meals with Carl & Steve tasty & filling. Company of all visitors enabled us all to exchange stories and get to know each other better. Fantastic trip. [ED] CO'B joined his son (also from Melbourne) half way through the tour after being convinced he should "get on the bloody plane as the weather is awesome"... | After many trips to Fowlers Bay 5 days of perfect weather - 2 PB's - 50lb samson and (approx) 115lb groper & many awesome fish this week - what do I say - well I've been on the beach when it's windy for many days. However if you get out at Fowlers these guys will find the fish, thank you Steve, Carl & Paul LD : Adelaide, SA : March 2008 (ID: 48) |
