To get around onto the beaches and rock ledges we've got a Toyota Troop Carrier and/or Landrover with room for you and your gear.
We have some outstanding hot spots, which really are off the beaten track. The sand on some of these beaches rarely see a footprint and the smell of fresh sea air, tinged with the sweet odour of huge mulloway pervades the nose. Rock ledges that smack of salmon, kingfish and snapper are abundant.

Often, while waiting for a run, dolphins can be seen cavorting in the waves. Schools of salmon, sometimes hundreds of metres long can be seen hunting along the bubbles. They are plentiful, much larger than other areas and can certainly put up a fantastic fight!
It's a magical place and only a visit here can provide the same sense of wonder experienced by others before you.
Summer months off the beach provide you with fantastic fishing photos and stories. This is the time for the famous mulloway [also known as Jewfish / Jewies or Butterfish]. Many anglers from right around Australia have realised their dream of catching a legendary big mulloway with Sam's Far West Coast Fishing Tours. It really does only take one bait, but the right place and the right time is something only experience can provide.

The assistance of your experienced guide with local knowledge and directions to the spots that are currently firing certainly increases your chances of bringing in this prized fish.
But mulloway and salmon aren't the only catches. The region is renowned for big snapper catches from the beach, huge sharks, flathead, whiting and occasionally tailor. Believe it or not, even a big samson has been taken on a bait intended for mulloway!
